Intended Learners
This conference is designed for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and podiatrists across all practice settings involved in the prevention, treatment, and management of patients with diabetic foot complications.
Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the magnitude of diabetic foot complications and apply comprehensive, multidisciplinary best practice approaches for evaluation and treatment
- Examine the etiology of diabetic foot ulcers, risk factors, causal pathways and prevention and management strategies
- Review the history, clinical evaluation, and treatment for painless and painful diabetic neuropathy, PAD and diabetic foot infections
- Analyze the pathology, classification, biomarkers and medical and surgical treatments for charcot foot
- Navigate interactive clinical cases of complex diabetic foot problems
Activity Overview
This educational conference will occur from December 2-3, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio hotel in San Antonio, Texas.
To be eligible for documentation of credit, participants must attend the full activity and submit a completed evaluation form. Participants who complete the evaluation online within 60 days of the live meeting will receive immediate documentation of credit.
